Farrow Designed Complex Continuing Care Wing in Norwich, Canada

Photography of the Farrow designed new Bethany Care Home Complex Care Centre have been released.

Silence, stillness, and relaxation, in architecture, has a human scale, is layered, with subtle compositions. It does not offer an absence of sound, but of visual noise – and even in a busy world, it includes places that offer stillness.

An architecture of silence, stillness, solidity, and intimacy allows us to draw delight from what we often consider unimportant and usually goes unnoticed. Silence, stillness, and relaxation also enable the mind and the unconsciousness to be free to wander and perform their important roles in the bottom-up processing of perception and emotion.
