Opening of the ‘Butterfly’ Cancer Center

Ribbon cutting ceremony at the new ‘Butterfly’ Helmsley Cancer Center

Today, Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, officially opened the Farrow Partners designed “Butterfly” Helmsley Cancer Center, at the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, the country’s flagship oncology centre.

After the ceremonies, the President met with Tye Farrow to discuss the centre’s “magnificent” architecture.

Farrow’s collaborators are Rubinstein Ofer Architects, Aspect Structural Engineers, Enartec, Programming Architecture, and Wiehag timber fabrication.

Farrow Partners is also designing the expansion to the Herzog Medical Centre’s 15 acre / 6 hectare campus in Jerusalem, originally named in honour of the President’s mother legacy work in advancing healthcare in Israel.
