Netherlands Norwich Community

The Farrow master planned community for the Netherlands Reformed Congregation of Norwich, near London Ontario includes a variety of housing types and education facilities that embrace the existing church as an integrated focal point for the congregation.

The master plan includes independent living housing, assisted living facilities, expansion to the 800-student independent school and a major addition to the church.

The independent living homes are created as a number of fourplex suites including individual garages, all linked back to the assisted living building. The assisted living facility is designed as a semi circular building containing the common and living areas surrounding a common central entry garden. The private areas are housed in wings that radiate outwards, which surround semi-private garden and activity areas.
