Extendicare Canada is one of North America’s largest long-term care providers with 244 senior care centers and capacity for approximately 26,600 residents. In Canada, Extendicare operates 84 senior care facilities with capacity for approximately 10,900 beds. Extendicare Canada hired Farrow as one of two architectural firms to complete half of all their new home building projects; a total of seven buildings with a total of 789 long term care and assisted living beds. The projects involved extensive user input, tight construction budgets and schedule deliverables. Each project was brought in under budget.

Extendicare Bracebridge: 94 LTC beds

Extendicare Oakville: 128 LTC beds

Extendicare Lakefield: 100 LTC beds

Extendicare Kawartha Lakes: 64 LTC beds and 38 assisted living

Extendicare Tecumseh: 128 LTC beds

Extendicare Halton Hills: 130 LTC beds
