Tye Farrow is giving a keynote address to Brazil’s National Association of Hospital Development, ABDEH Digital 2021. He will outline tangible ways on how health care architecture can move beyond just its functional services, toward its potential to enhance physiological and psychological health, for those that work and heal within, at a time post-covid that medical staff are leaving the profession at an unprecedented rate.

The Farrow designed TMS Elgin Mills project is emerging on site. The mass timber structure features six tree-like columns supporting the timber ceiling, creating an interior courtyard-like space as a twin to the new exterior treed courtyard space.

The Farrow designed TMS Bayview Campus building’s structure contains 111 cubic metres of wood in its structure, the equivalent embodied carbon of taking 500 cars off the road for a year.
