“Enriching life… Daily”

Hillside is based on the intergenerational housing model that encourages people from a variety of generations to live in one place together. The intention is to foster a sense of coherence between generations, encourage interaction and collaboration, and engender a greater sense of empathy.

The public realm is elevated off the ground to create the undulating garden roofscape, offering a natural space for the community to gather. The roofscape is dotted with pavilions to be improvised for community programming and activities. Garden allotments allow residents to take part in urban farming – providing food and teaching valuable life skills to one another.

The residence also features a number of tailored common spaces, delivering engaging activities such as performance and arts, exercise, and dining, to its residents. Hillside aims to deliver a mentally and physically nourishing lifestyle to its residents by “Enriching life… daily”.
