Optimism

Optimistic places radiate abundance. They are the opposite of pessimistic or apathetic. They energize visitors and make them feel spirited and inspired. For many people, optimistic, abundant spaces are where they do their best thinking. The ability to introspect and reflect, to concentrate and to create is highly influenced by the space that surrounds us. This has measurable health benefits: optimism reduces hypertension and lowers cardio stress and blood pressure, which in turn increases longevity. Enriched environments truly “cause health”.

Architecture and design that creates an atmosphere of abundance and positivity is reflected in visitors’ desires to prolong their visits and to return frequently. After all, who wants to return to an uninspired place that generates a feeling of indifference?
