Construction Commences on Toronto Urban Independent School

June 3, 2019.  Construction is commencing on the fourth phase of the transformation of the junior school at Royal St. George's College. With the completion of this phase, Farrow will have completed renovations to the entire junior and middle schools of the campus.
The project includes creating new collaboration spaces and serpentine stair for the middle school including a larger multipurpose/function space which could accommodate up to two classes at once, along with the renovations to three other learning spaces.
Royal St. George's College (RSGC) is an independent school for boys located in The Annex neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada. Founded in 1961 as an Anglican choir school in the tradition of the great collegiate and cathedral choir schools in the United Kingdom, Royal St. George's is the only pre-university school in Canada authorized to use the "Royal" designation.

 

Farrow to Speak at Milan Italy’s Politecnico University

February 1, 2019. Tye Farrow has been invited to present his thoughts on the relationship of the built environment and health this March in Milan. The speech titled “Enriched Environments: elements of architectural space that activate optimal phycological and psychological health” is part of a gathering of global leaders exploring the impacts of Salutogenic design, architecture and its ability to cause health.
The Politecnico di Milano is the largest university in Italy and oldest in Milan, offering undergraduate, graduate and higher education courses in engineering, architecture and design.

 

Farrow Completes Kingsway College School Master Plan

Farrow presented the final master plan for Kingsway College School (KCS), an independent school located in Etobicoke in January 2019. The master plan includes a new entry drop of, new lobby and atrium, athletics centre and multi use space as well as a plan to renovate the existing school over a five-year period.

KCS which provides their students with rich and diverse experiences focused on the Four Doors to Learning Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Citizenship. The master plan is anticipated to be completed by January 2019.

Farrow has completed over 30 master plans and has work with a number of Canadas leading independent schools.

 

Construct Commences on Landmark Golf Simulation Centre

Construction has started on The Toronto Hunts new golf simulation centre, pro shop and related spaces overlooking the Lake Ontario. The new centre will significantly expand the memberships golf experience with state-of-the-art teaching equipment in a new daylit social area.

One of the oldest hunt clubs in North America and the second oldest in Canada, the Hunt was founded in 1843. Today, The Toronto Hunt owns approximately 71 acres with 2,000 feet of frontage overlooking the lake. Farrow has been completed a number of additions renovations and new building at the Hunt for over twenty years.

This the fourth project Farrow has undertaken at the club; beginning with the Turf Care Centre; the Annex Building addition and renovations; and the mens locker room renovations.
